S4HANA CS/SD/PS/PP : Block Outbound Delivery Creation upon TECO of Service/Network/Production Order

This is a real time Scenario to block Outbound Delivery Creation  Upon TECO of Service/Network/ Production Order.

Background :

When we have created a Service Order from Sales Order for Repair Scenario,  We normally take the material into our Stock using Return delivery and get it serviced and send material to customer using Outbound delivery.  Normally TECO will control whether  outbound delivery can be allowed for Material , or it should be scrapped based on the status of Repair.

As per the standard design, Outbound Delivery can be allowed before and After TECO, this is controlled in the system Status

Now we can forbid Delivery Creation for line item,

There are actually two Approaches for this. Let us discuss each in Details

Method 1:

Create a User status Profile and Forbid Creation of Delivery for Outbound Line item

This is Delivery Line with Item Category IRAL, Assign one user Status and make Delivery Creation as Forbid to it

assign this Status to the IRAL item at line item status level

Now try to Create Outbound delivery for this line item and check the results

This is first Approach, Now we discuss in detail on second approach, This is more relavant for Service Order Processing and not useful for other Orders such as Network, Production Order

Method :2

This approach is mainly to Control the Repair Procedure Items, from the Repair Procedure, you can delete the Outbout delivery item

If this item is deleted , after TECO system will automatically propose next Stage. Please ensure to add Item if you need outbound delivery manually in the Order
