SAP ECC Logistics and TM integration

ERP logistics Integration
SAP ERP  integrated  with TM to facilitate Planning and execution  of Sales orders and Deliveries. Sales orders and Deliveries are represented as Transportation requirements in SAP TM. ERP integration enables us to
-           Collectively plan transportation for all orders, and across order types
-          Perform transportation Planning in SAP TM based on SAP ERP Orders, prior to delivery creation, thus enabling us to get an earlier forecast of future transportation and resource demands
-          Performing tendering, subcontracting, and execution in Sap TM base don ERP orders
-          Propose and create deliveries based on dates and quantities according to transportation planning results, taking into account transportation constraints such as resource availability and transportation durations

Order integration:

Orders that are created in SAP ERP can be transferred to SAP TM, where they are stored as Order-based transportation requirements. The following types of orders in ERP are supported
-          Sales Orders
-          Customer returns
-          PO
-          STO
-          Return PO
-          Return STO

Delivery Proposals

SAP TM can generate a proposal for a delivery to be created in ERP based on the Order-based Transportation Requirement.  Details on Creation of ERP deliveries from SAP TM.

Delivery Integration

Outbound deliveries and Inbound deliveries that are created in SAP ERP can be transferred to SAP TM where they are stored as delivery-based transportation requirements. Deliveries can be transferred to SAP TM regardless of whether the delivery creation was triggered by SAP TM or not. Deliveries can also be transferred to SAP TM even if an order that related to the delivery has not been sent to SAP TM.

Order Scheduling

While creating Sales orders in SAP ERP, transportation scheduling can be done synchronously in SAP TM.  More details can be found in SCHEDULING OF SAP ERP SALES ORDERS IN SAP TM.

SAP ERP Shipment Integration

Outbound integration of ERP shipments enables us to carryout transportation execution in SAP ERP for freight orders or freight bookings  created in SAP TM.

SAP EWM integration

SAP TM can be integrated with the SAP EWM via ERP. This enables us to integrate transportation Planning in SAP TM with delivery and shipment processing in SAP ERP and warehouse Planning and execution in SAP EWM

SETTINGS IN SAP ERP

In SAP ERP, We can display available control keys for document transfer, which we need to use following customizing activities in SAP ERP.

1.       Define Control Key for document transfer
SPROàINTEGRATION WITH OTHER SAP COMPONENTSàTRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENTàORDER INTEGRATIONàDEFINE CONTROL KEY FOR DOCUMENT TRANSFER

Create a control key and activate SO to TM check Box and Outbound Delivery check box if we need Sales Orders and Deliveries to be activated /transferred to TM.

2.       Activate transfer of Sales document types
In this activity assign the Control Key to the sales document types and respective sales area.

SAP PM/CS / EAM : Refurbishment Process

Refurbishment A refurbishment order is a standard Maintenance Order type. In customizing for order, we first create an order type ( such as PM04) In the configuration we have to create a new order type in OIOA and activate this for Refurbishment process. Process flow: Business process steps 1. Damaged equipment/ spares if can be repaired will be done by the PM order of type PM04 2. Equipment/Spares needs repairing should have the item code if it is serialized item then with the serial number. 3. Item should have the valuation type for repair category too. 4. TO MAKE INACTIVE CONDITION ACTIVE IN SAP

This blogger contains details on how to set an INACTIVE CONDITION  to ACTIVE while processing Sales Order content: 1.  BUSINESS REQUIREMENT Due to some legal restrictions in Russia, Russia Local Plant cannot hold any stock for the material and hence it is non valuated which means the Standard Price is Zero ( 0 $ ) The stock will be replenished from another company code and we used our Standard Third Party process  in which PR is created which will be converted to PO and when we do GR, the Standard Price of that plant is calculated in the GR. The baseline pricing structure is mapped in such a way that VPRS is calculated from the Material master and on which 15% markup is added as base price. Since the Cost price in VPRS condition is Zero Markup calculated on VPRS will be obviously calculates to Zero and both conditions were set as INACTIVE as per the condition properties 2.  CREATE SALES ORDER we will create a sales order for a material, whose standard Price

S4HANA-Project Systems Operative Indicators in WBS- CJ20N
